“Love cures people, both the ones who give it and the ones who receive it.”

WHY I WRITE
I don’t know how to describe how it truly feels to love someone but as a writer each day I find it my passion to try. It’s liberating, a feeling so irresistible and divine. But after suffering a heartbreak so unbearable and agonizing, love becomes something torturous and traumatic, so adverse and contradictory to everything it’s supposed to be.
I started this blog as an outlet to untangle my feelings about love and pave a path that resembles healing. However, along the way, I have realized I am not the only one who has begun to give up on love, no longer letting people in. So although I started this blog for me, it is also for you dear reader. I write for the brokenhearted, the devastated, and desolate souls. I write for the heavy-hearted and for those who are suffering.
And most importantly I write to soften our spirits and heal the lacerations in our hearts. I write so that when the day comes, the day love comes waltzing through the door, we will be ready to receive it and greet it with open arms. We will be ready to live through love again.
